I just read a great book.

Trauma Plan (Grace Medical) by Candace Calvert is a well written fiction christian book. It stars Jack Travis and Riley Hale. Jack is a doctor with a troubled past and a need to make a fledgling free clinic survive an upscale neighborhood. Riley is a former ER nurse working as a hospital chaplain. She’s trying to overcome physical deficiencies from a recent attack so that she can return to her career. Jack and Riley cross paths and start working together. This book is an mystery, drama and christian romance in one.

I actually found this book to be really entertaining. It was superbly written. I was deeply attached to all the characters. The author was able to put just the right amount of christianity into this book without interrupting the flow of the storyline. It was uplifting and engaging. It held just the right amount of medical lingo without bogging the book down. I couldn’t put the book down and had to finish it in one sitting. I am looking forward to reading more from this author. I would recommend this book to anyone that loves a love story with a mystery.
